Because money is the number one cause of stress, whether they have a little or a lot, the first conversation I train barbers to have clears up money stress for them and their client.
Men may not open up about depression, anxiety, or fear, but they will talk about the pressure to succeed. The pressure to earn, provide, and not fall behind. The person they will share that with is their barber. That makes barbers the first responders to therapy.
